New Year :)

Amongst other things, Rich and I were able to attend the Youth Alive West Coast meetup in Texas. We have found so much value in networking with other YA missionaries - hearing about what is working for them, brainstorming, sharing resources, etc. 

In addition to some great trainings during the day, we were able to do some fun group stuff in the evenings like axe throwing. The YA group also did a thing with Houston SWAT as a fun activity one of the days that Rich went to and really enjoyed. I took that time to relax by the pool and met up with everyone for dinner. 

A great mental health resource we came across during the trip was a book by Dr Dolly Thomas called "The Storm Whisperer" - highly recommended!
