The Announcement
For about the past year or so I could sense change was coming. While I felt the call to missions years ago, it was just this past year that I felt like I got the green light from God. There's a lot to this that is hard to simplify and make concise, but basically at the same time that I began to feel like it might be time Rich began feeling like we should move to Wyoming. It was like pieces in a puzzle starting to come together in ways I never could have even imagined. After a ton of prayer and some incredible confirmation - I've made the leap of faith and said yes to God's call to serve as a Youth Alive missionary to the state of Wyoming. Youth Alive focuses on bringing the hope of Jesus to unchurched teens on middle & high school campuses.
We have so much love for our Oregon people and have been blessed to have a church family that legimately has been family to us. From my Life in Christ and Arrow Youth fam, to the homeschool moms, the Oregon youth pastors, my master's class friends.... I have just been abundantly blessed by amazing people in my life. We have been deeply impacted by the people and ministry at Life in Christ and are so thankful to have gotten to serve in such a healthy, faithful, and passionate church. Our last Sunday is Feb 13th so plan to come party and celebrate with us! Please!! I want to see you!!
Also if you want to join with us in spirit and in prayer and keep up with how it's going, we are trying to decide on the best way to connect with people on that. But I'll keep you all updated!
Anyway, if you read through this whole thing - thanks for sticking with it. Lol.
We are excited to be a part of what God's doing in Wyoming and are excited to serve and love hard.
"May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think." Ephesians 3:19-20
