Boldness for the Mission
Ohhhhh support raising
Sometimes people ask (usually they don't,) and honestly it still feels awkward to bring it up. It's easily the hardest part of missionary work.
Of course I'm talking about financial support raising. I feel confident that we have people's prayer support and support of the mission to reach middle and high schoolers with the hope of Jesus. We are crazy blessed to both currently serve in (Wyoming) and be sent from (Oregon) states that value the next generation. We believe their hearts are with us.
Currently we are 17% funded 🎉.
The goal, of course, is 100%. So it's definitely a work in progress. A good friend slash mentor reminds me that I need to be bold about the mission God's given us, and reminds me that I'm not just asking for money but that I'm inviting people to partner with us and sow into a generation and a ministry. They're sowing into lives being changed.
We are so incredibly thankful to the churches and individuals who support us. We truly couldn't do what we do without you guys.
Your money buys the resources I send to students.
It buys materials for guides to help students start movements in their schools and students communities.
It allows us to do fun stuff with and for students at district events - allowing them to recognize that Jesus' mission is fun, exciting, creative, and really, really urgent.
Your giving allows us to travel to youth groups and do youth services without having to charge.
It allows us to create trainings for students to share Jesus confidently.
If you are a praying person, we'd love prayer for this (financial) area of the ministry. Love you guys!
