Launching :)

This month I was honored to hang with GRAG (Green River Assembly of God) this month and be a part of their back to school commissioning service as well as do a Youth Service in Glenrock. It's so encouraging to see how churches all across Wyoming are loving and reaching the next generation of students and children. If each church could have even just one student missionary in each school who is intentionally sharing their faith - what an impact that alone could have. I have met some pretty incredible students all across the state and I'm praying that God would speak clearly to some and that they'd say yes to God's call. I believe we could have a powerhouse group of students going into schools with incredible purpose!

That's where Launch Night Live comes in. Basically Launch Night Live is a packaged Livestream event churches/youth groups can host to give time for students to pray and plan about their campus. John Zick (the Called guy) is the main speaker and then quite a few youth alive missionaries will be there too (Rich and I will be there!) There are times of hearing from speakers intermixed with places designed for students to discuss, pray, and plan.

Some groups do it surrounded by a time of worship or games, others do it in homes - really it's whatever works best for the group.  I'm planning on sending out club guides and other resources groups who host, that way they're ready if students feel like that is a tool they might want to use to bring Jesus to their campus.

A super simplified description of resources we currently have available for students who want to reach their campus and community:

Up to lead a club:

-Discord

-Club guide

Not up for leading a club:

-Discord

(But more things are coming! Aka -  👀 Youth Alive Fire Bibles that will be available this fall for students who go through campus missionary training!)

A question regarding clubs that has come up quite a bit is: "what if there's already another Christian club on my campus?"

My answer to that is simple: Community  > Competition

We aren't in competition with other Christians or churches. Do what you can to support other groups - even being by being a part!

But - here's why a student should do a Youth Alive club on their campus anyway: the focus is evangelism and bringing the Gospel to every student. A lot of campuses may have a Bible club or a faith based club for athletes. These aren't bad! They're just different. Your Youth Alive club is one that intentionally invites and welcomes those who don't yet know Jesus. Your Youth Alive club will help students share their faith on their campus and learn to disciple others.

It's also an obvious next step for any student who feels a call to ministry. Start sharpening those gifts! Start pastoring your campus! Don't wait! The people around you urgently need Jesus.
