Marching On

Assemblies of God Next Gen Conference – Florida
During March with a trip to Florida for the Assemblies of God Next Gen conference. It was a refreshing time to gather with leaders from all over the country who are focused on discipling and empowering the next generation. The sessions were full of vision and then breakout sessions gave leaders practical tools for ministry.

Wyoming Fine Arts – Coordinating and Evaluating
Back in Wyoming, we had the privilege of being a part of Wyoming Fine Arts. This event is such an impactful event for students as it gives them space to grow in their gifts. I helped coordinate a truly incredible team of evaluators who served students and nurtured what God is already growing in their lives. If you know me at all, you know that Fine Arts is incredibly close to my heart because I have seen the impact that can happen when students start to see how God might want to use their gift for His mission.

Church Multiplication Network Training – Casper, WY
Later in the month, I attended a Church Multiplication Network training in Casper, where we focused on church revitalization and planting. This training was packed with insights on how to breathe new life into churches that may be struggling, as well as how to approach church planting in a healthy, sustainable way. This training reinforced the importance of building strong, mission-focused churches that can continue to reach people in fresh and impactful ways. While Youth Alive doesn’t plant churches (...yet? I mean, why not. Weirder things have happened!) I see direct use for students. Many of the same missional principles are cross over with surprising relevance.

Planning for the Busy Season Ahead
March also marked the start of some serious planning for the months ahead. Summer is coming, haha. Between Zoom calls and meetings, we’ve been laying the groundwork for some exciting projects to come. There’s a busy season ahead, full of events and opportunities to engage students and leaders across Wyoming and beyond. It’s exciting to see the vision come together, and while the calendar is filling up, I know that each step we take is part of something much bigger than ourselves. This time of preparation is crucial as we move forward with intention and clarity, ready for the next season of ministry.
