Encounter 22

During November Rich and I were honored to be MCs together for Encounter - Wyoming's Youth Convention! I really enjoyed the creativity involved with being an MC a LOT (.…..we gave away a sweet potato…... you had to be there.) It was also just good to continue getting to know leaders in our district. I also just am obsessed with anything I get to do with other people - teams are kind of my favorite. So district events, Youth Alive events, all the things like that - are some of my favorite things I get to do. The hardest part of the transition to Wyoming has been missing people and missing having a team, so things like this are a big deal to me. I guess I just really, really like humans. 

Youth Alive also sponsored a breakfast for the youth leaders breakout session. (Thanks to everyone who financially supports Wyoming Youth Alive and made that possible!) Josh Wellborn spoke at the main sessions of Encounter and specifically to leaders during this breakout, and it was just really good. We also helped with the Called breakout for students - Rich led an ice breaker game, Pastor Nicole Heidt shared about David being anointed, and I was able to dig into some very practical steps for a student who is saying yes to God's call. 

It was a really full and fulfilling weekend and we are so glad to have gotten to be a part.
